Worker Clearing Leaves Threatened With Gun In Annandale: Police

Police say the worker was at an apartment complex when a man displayed a weapon.

ANNANDALE, VA — Police made an arrest after a man allegedly pulled a gun on a worker in Annandale Monday.

Around 2 p.m., the worker had been using a leaf blower at an apartment complex when a man came out of an apartment. The man allegedly grabbed him by the jacket, took out the gun and threatened the worker.

Officers worked to de-escalate the situation and took the man into custody. Baxon Hwang, 70, of Annandale, was charged with abduction and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
