1 Dead in Arlington Blaze, Another in Life-Threatening Condition
Police say the house in the 2600 block of Grant Street had "hoarding conditions."

ARLINGTON, VA — One person is dead and another has life-threatening injuries after a fire broke out Sunday night in a South Arlington home with "hoarding conditions," according to the Arlington County Fire Department.
Units were called to the 2600 block of S. Grant Street in the Aurora Hills neighborhood near Crystal City shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday night.
The fire department said on their Twitter account that units were "dealing with hoarding conditions," and one victim had been pulled from the home, with a second victim later located and removed.

Firefighters were able to knock down the home fairly quickly, but one victim was confirmed as a fatality on the scene, with the other reported in life-threatening condition.
