ARLINGTON, VA — Two Arlington schools were placed on lockdown Friday due to reported threats, authorities said.

According to Arlington County police, officers responded to Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Alice Fleet Elementary School after the schools reported receiving threats via telephone.
