2 Arrested In Robbery By Force At Ballston Business: Police
Two of three juvenile suspects were taken into custody Thursday after taking items by force from Ballston business, according to police.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested two juveniles in connection with a robbery by force that took place Tuesday afternoon inside a Ballston business. Police are also looking for a third suspect in the case, according to the daily crime report.
Officers responded around 4:38 p.m. for the report of a robbery by force at a business in the 700 block of N. Glebe Road. They determined that three juveniles had entered the business and concealed merchandise. When the three were confronted by the business' loss-prevention personnel, one of the suspects shoved that person to the ground. The three then left the store without paying, according to police. Although the loss-prevention personnel received minor injures, they didn't need medical treatment.
A lookout was broadcast and the officers who originally responded to the business saw three people who matched the description of the suspects. After the officers commanded the three people stop, two of the suspects ran from the police. However, they later complied with the officers' command and were taken into custody in the 4100 block of 4th Street N.
