2 Attacked With Baseball Bats, Machete In Crystal City: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are looking for four suspects who they say assaulted two men with baseball bats and threatened them with a machete early Sunday morning in Crystal City.

Officers responded around 4:30 a.m. to the 1400 block of South Eads Street to investigate the report of an assault.

"The reporting party stated at approximately 3:00 a.m., the two male victims were inside a residence with the two female suspects, during which the two male suspects approached from a room inside the home and demanded the victims’ personal belongings," according to the incident report. "The victims refused and the male suspects stole one victim’s jacket before striking the victims with baseball bats and threatening them with a machete. The victims then exited the residence. They sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and subsequently self-reported to a hospital."

ACPD are looking for the following four suspects in connection to the incident:

• Female Suspect One is described as a light-skinned Hispanic woman, approximately 5-foot 5 in height, 20-30 years old, with brown eyes and tan hair.
• Female Suspect Two is described as a thin-build unknown race female, approximately 5’6”, 20-30 years old, with short black hair.
• Male Suspect One is described as a bald Hispanic male, approximately 6’2”, 30-40 years old, wearing all black clothing.
• Male Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’6”, 20-30 years old, wearing all black clothing.
