2 Peeping Charges Filed Against 60-Year-Old Man By Arlington Police

Arlington County Police arrested a 60-year-old man following reports of someone looking through the windows into two homes on Monday.

ARLINGTON, VA — A 60-year-old man was arrested in connection to two peeping incidents that occurred Monday along Columbia Pike in Arlington.

Arlington County Police officers responded around 9:27 p.m. to the 2000 block of Columbia Pike for the report of peeping. A woman told police she saw a man looking through a window into her home before he ran off.

After broadcasting a lookout, officers searched the area and eventually located a man matching the description of the suspect in the 1500 block of Columbia Pike. After taking him into custody, police determined the man was the same suspect sought in an earlier peeping incident that occurred the same day around 1:05 a.m. in the 2000 block of Columbia Pike.

Police arrested Herbert Otey of no fixed address and charged him of with two counts of peeping more than three times within 10 years.
