2 Robbers Attack Store Employee In Arlington: Police

Police are searching for two robbers who attacked a store employee in Arlington Wednesday night.

ARLINGTON, VA — Police are searching for two robbers who attacked an Arlington store employee Wednesday night.

At about 8:38 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway for the report of an assault that had just occurred.

It was determined that an employee was assaulted after confronting two male suspects attempting to steal merchandise, police said. The suspects then fled the scene on foot with the merchandise.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male in his fifties, approximately 5’7”-5’11” tall and weighs 200-250 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male in his thirties, approximately 5’5”-5’8” tall and weighed 180-200 lbs. He was wearing a black hat, blue shirt and black shorts, police said.
