2 Teens Arrested In Columbia Forest Armed Robbery
Arlington County Police charged two teens an an armed robbery incident that occurred Thursday morning in Columbia Forrest.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested two teenagers in connection with Thursday morning armed robbery in Columbia Forest, according to the daily crime report.
Officers were dispatched Feb. 20, around 10:45 a.m., to Virginia Hospital Center for the report of an earlier armed robbery. Arriving on the scene, officers learned the victims had met with the suspects, who were known to them, around 9:43 am., in the 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. After the suspects entered the victim's vehicle, they produced a firearm, assaulted both victims and tried to steal their personal property before fleeing the scene. One of the victims received medical treatment for non-live threatening injuries.
ACPD identified the two teenaged suspects and took them into custody after obtaining petitions for attempted robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery.
