ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested two individuals in connection with two separate weapons violations Wednesday, one at a Pentagon City business and the other in the Shirlington area, according to the daily crime report.

Around 2 p.m., an officer observed five juveniles passing their cruiser and then stopping a short distance away. The officer then watched as one of the juveniles readjusted a firearm in their waistband, before concealing it under their closing. The juvenile entered a business and dispersed. The officer located and made contact with the juvenile with the firearm. After confirming the juvenile's age and locating the firearm, the officer took the person into custody.

ACPD filed petitions for the juvenile suspect for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a handgun or assault firearm by a juvenile.
