3 Baltimore Men Charged With Theft Of Catalytic Converter In Arlington
Three Baltimore men were arrested in Arlington early Saturday morning in connection with theft of a catalytic converter, police said.
ARLINGTON, VA — Three Baltimore men were arrested in Arlington early Saturday morning in connection with theft of a catalytic converter, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Shortly before 4 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of three suspects stealing a catalytic converter and fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the area of 14th Steet South and S. Monroe Street in Arlington’s Douglas Park neighborhood. Police determined the vehicle had a stolen license plate.

During their search of the vehicle, officers found tools and a catalytic converter, police said.
Alan Chirinos-Zuniga, 18, Daniel Orellana Orellana, 21, and Jonathan Membreno-Romero, 20, all of Baltimore, were arrested and charged with entering a motor vehicle, removal of a catalytic converter, and possession of burglarious tools, police said.
