3 Charged In Ashton Heights Armed Robbery At Knifepoint: Police
Arlington County Police arrested two women and one man in connection with an armed robbery on Wednesday at a Ashton Heights bus stop.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested three people in connection with an armed robbery that occurred early Wednesday morning in Ashton Heights, according to a police release.
Officers responded around 1:08 a.m., for the report of a robbery in the 700 block of N. Randolph St. A preliminary investigation revealed two male victims and a witness were sitting in a bus stop when two women and one man approached them. One of the women grabbed a cellphone from one of the victim's hands, pulled out a knife and demand money for the return of the cellphone. The two women and man threatened to physically harm the two victims, who handed over money in return for the phone. The three suspects then fled the scene.
After searching the area, the responding officers located the suspects and took them into custody.

ACPD's Homicide/Robbery Unit arrested Belinda Pettus, 41, of Arlington; Tyja Reynolds, 28, of Alexandria and Daniel King, 47, of Falls Church. Police charged each of them with two counts of robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. The three are being held without bail in the Arlington County Detention Facility.
