3 Robberies Under Investigation By Arlington Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are looking for suspects in connection with three robberies that took place Sunday and Monday at three locations across the county, according to the daily crime report.

In the first case, officers were dispatched around 12:17 a.m., on Sunday, to the 2700 block of Richmond Highway for the report of a dispute. Officers learned that the victim and a known suspect had arrived back at their hotel room when the suspect began rummaging through the victim's belongings. After a verbal dispute, the suspect grabbed the victim and threw her to the ground. He took her car keys and items of value, before fleeing in her vehicle. The victim did not suffer any injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a Black man, standing 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1 and weighting 140-150 pounds. He has light brown eyes and long blond dreadlocks.

In the second case, police were dispatched around 2:54 a.m., on Monday, to the 3300 block of Lee Highway, for the report of an assault. The victim told police he had visited a known suspect's hotel room, when the suspect assaulted him and took items of value and an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the scene. Although the victim received minor injuries, he did not require medical treatment.

Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned, mixed race man, with a short fade haircut. He was wearing a black and white shirt.


In the third case, ACPD dispatched officers to the 3600 block of S. Glebe Road around 11:45 a.m., on Monday, for the report of a robbery by force. They determined a known suspect had visited the victim's residence, become agitated, and demanded cash from the victim. The suspect then tried to grab items of value from the victim, which led to a brief struggle. After demanding additional money, the suspect fled the scene. The victim was not injured.

Police describe the suspect as a Black male, standing about 5-foot 10, with an unshaven face and tattoos on his upper arm. He was wearing a black baseball cap, blue face mask, a black tank top, red athletic shorts, and black flip flops with socks.

All three cases remain under investigation by ACPD.
