'30 Rock' Star Tracy Morgan Performing at Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse This Weekend
Tickets are already sold out to see the popular comedian.
Tracy Morgan will be performing standup this weekend at Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse on Columbia Pike, and both of his shows are already sold out.
The comedian and star of the long-running NBC sitcom "30 Rock" will be performing his show "Picking Up the Pieces" on Saturday, July 30 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Tracy Morgan is one of the hottest comedians today after having spent seven seasons on NBC's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock as Tracy Jordan, an eccentric B-list movie star who acts unpredictably.

His 2014 standup special for Comedy Central, "Tracy Morgan: Bona Fide," brought the network one of its largest standup viewership totals that year. Morgan recently wrapped filming of the upcoming movie "Fist Fight," and he has starred in hit animated films, including "G-Force," "Rio" and "Boxtrolls."
Morgan suffered personal tragedy in June 2014 when the minibus he was riding in was involved in a six-vehicle crash in New Jersey, killing his friend James McNair and severely injuring Morgan. Morgan didn't make a public appearance until one year after the crash, when he was interviewed by Matt Lauer on Today. He made a surprise appearance at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards last September, and he was greeted with a standing ovation.
