Bank Robbery In Arlington Prompts Police Search For Suspect

Police are investigating a bank robbery on South Eads Street after a suspect implied he had a weapon and fled with cash.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are investigating a bank robbery Tuesday afternoon in the 1400 block of South Eads Street.

According to the Arlington County Police Department, the suspect entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police described the suspect as a white man in his 30s who was wearing a blue polo shirt.

No injuries were immediately reported.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Arlington County Police Department.
