Arlington College Students Honored As New Academic Year Begins
Patch recognizes college students from Arlington who earned honors recently from their academic institution.
ARLINGTON, VA — Many college students from Arlington have returned to their respective schools for the start of the fall 2021 academic semester. But some students spent the spring and summer studying on campus and have already distinguished themselves academically.
Apple Gould-Schultz of Arlington was named to first honors on the Dean's List at Clark University in Worcester Massachusetts for the spring 2021 semester. The honor recognizes students who receive a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.
Melanie Kasch, a music student from Arlington, was named to the Dean's List at Christopher Newport University in Newport News for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters. The honor recognizes students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, who earned no final grade below C and earned a grade point average of at least 3.50.
