Arlington College Students Receive Academic Honors

ARLINGTON, VA — In spite of the many hurdles the COVID-19 pandemic has presented to college students from Arlington, many have continued to pursue their education. Some have done so with honors.

The following students were recognized recently by their respective schools for their academic achievements:

• Samuel Yarnell of Arlington excelled during the spring 2021 semester, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the dean's list at Hofstra University.
• Annie Bell, who is an Arlington resident and a member of Bucknell University's class of 2023, achieved dean's list status for spring 2021.
