Reporters who cover Arlington: Arlington County Board Chair Libby Garvey will speak about equity; innovation and resiliency; the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and calls for racial justice on the County, and the path to recovery, in her State of the County speech to the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s annual State of the County & Public Safety Awards event will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. The event also honors Arlington’s public safety personnel and first responders who have exemplified extraordinary heroic actions and exceptional performance of their duties. Your registration fee will provide breakfast for a first responder, or public safety personnel.
