ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (late), 2021-09040090, 400 block of N. Fillmore Street. At approximately 9:05 a.m. on September 4, police were dispatched to the late report of an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 2:30 a.m., the victims were awoken to the unknown suspect(s) ringing their doorbell. At approximately 9:00 a.m., the victims observed the screen to the back porch to be damaged and removed from its track. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2021-09070293, 4100 block of 3rd Road N. At approximately 11:56 p.m. on September 7, police were dispatched to the report of vandalism. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 2:30 p.m., the victim returned to his residence after an extended period of time and noticed his furniture missing and personal items that did not belong to him. A few hours later, the unknown male suspect attempted to gain entry to the residence. Upon being verbally confronted by the victim, the suspect fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6’4”, wearing a baseball hat and multicolor shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
