Report: Arlington County Probation Officer Accused of Sexually Assaulting Girl, 10

Woodbridge man Marco Antonio Silva, 40, charged July 9 with aggravated sexual battery involving a 10-year old girl is an Arlington County probation officer, according to a report by NBC-4.

On July 9, detectives from Prince William County's Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave in Woodbridge on July 7. 

Prince William County said the investigation revealed that the victim, a 10 year old girl, was allegedly sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Silva was held without bond. He was placed on administrative leave by Arlington County without pay, pending the outcome of the investigation, NBC-4 reported.
