Arlington Diner Named 'Best 24-Hour Restaurant' In Virginia

ARLINGTON, VA — Cosmopolitan compiled a list of the best 24-hour restaurants in each state, and an Arlington diner took Virginia's top spot. You probably already know which one — Bob & Edith's Diner.

With the Columbia Pike, Arlington location serving Virginia since 1969, Bob & Edith's expanded to Crystal City and Springfield. All three locations are open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and serve breakfast at all times.

Bob & Edith's serves up fresh, cooked-to-order meals in the familiar diner setting. Yelp reviewers rave about their corned beef hash, breakfast entrées, milkshakes and pies.

"Sometimes you have to give 5 stars for the unbelievable customer service and wonderful atmosphere of an establishment, even when it is a diner. This is that time," a Yelp user posted.

Another user commented on the food, saying: "I love this diner! It has everything I go to diners for-- friendly staff, busy yet attentive service, and homey atmosphere. The food is the best part. Perfectly cooked eggs and crispy bacon, well done hash browns (only the crunchy bits), and they were even able to accommodate my request for spinach. This place has a lot of history, and for a good reason!"
