Arlington Farmers Markets to Reopen for Season

Spring is in the air and for Arlingtonians this means the opportunity to visit even more farmers markets with a number of markets reopening in the coming weeks.

With eight convenient locations, access to seasonal fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats, fresh flowers and more has never been easier.

Arlington’s newest market, Fairlington Farmers Market, which is located in the back plaza of Fairlington Community Center, is set to open on Sunday, April 19, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thereafter it will be open Sundays through Nov. 22.

The Arlington Farmers Market at Courthouse welcomes Community Foodworks as their new manager. Community Foodworks is dedicated to creating market opportunities for local farmers and food producers while increasing access to good, healthy, local food. For more information visit the county Web site.
