Arlington Food Assistance Center Hands Out Turkeys

Congressman Jim Moran and Chef David Guas from Bayou Bakery helped the Arlington Food Assistance Center kick off their annual turkey week. The duo passed out turkeys to 196 families on Monday.

AFAC provides food assistance to Arlington County residents by distributing supplemental groceries to those in Arlington who cannot afford to purchase enough food for themselves. To receive food, you must be a county resident with ID or a current referral from the county DHS.
