Arlington Man Accused Of Robbing Ballston Business
Arlington County Police accused a local man of robbing a Ballston area business early Tuesday morning.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man is accused of being drunk in public and robbing a Ballston area business early Tuesday morning, according to the Arlington County Police Department's daily crime report.
ACPD officers were dispatched around 2:05 a.m., for the report of a robbery at a business in the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. Following a preliminary investigation, they learned the suspect had entered the business, approached the register, and asked for merchandise behind the counter. Once the victim retrieved the merchandise, the suspect snatched the item from the victim's hand and grabbed a jar of change on the counter. He then fled the business on foot.
The officers broadcast a lookout and began canvasing the area. They located the suspect in the 4200 block of Wilson Blvd. After positively identifying the him as the suspect, ACPD arrested Andre Romeo, 42, of Arlington, charged him for robbery, three counts of petit larceny, and being drunk in public.
