Arlington Man Arrested On Charges Of Malicious Wounding: Police

An Arlington man was arrested on charges of malicious wounding Tuesday after attacking a man in the Colonial Village Apartments area.

Alexander Chew, 27, of Arlington was arrested on Tuesday and charged with malicious wounding, Arlington County Police said. He was held in the Arlington County jail without bond.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man was arrested on charges of malicious wounding Tuesday evening after attacking a man in the Colonial Village Apartments area, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

At about 5:20 p.m., police went to the 2000 block of Key Boulevard in Arlington, where they learned that a man was walking in the area when the suspect tried to talk to him. The man kept walking and then was chased by the suspect, who then assaulted him, according to police.

The victim was treated on scene by medics. Police officers found the suspect and took him into custody without incident.
