Arlington Man Faces Indecent Exposure, Other Charges: Police
An Arlington man was arrested on multiple charges Wednesday after he pushed a police officer in the courtyard of an apartment complex.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man was arrested on multiple charges Wednesday morning after he pushed a police officer in the courtyard of an apartment complex in the Ballston area and then ran into one of the apartments, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
The man was standing nude near a grill in the building’s courtyard when police received a call about him, according to ARLnow. One of the charges entered against the man was indecent exposure, police said.
The man, 25, also was charged with assault and battery on police and identity theft, according to the police department.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Washington Blvd., near the intersection with N. Glebe Road, for the report of a man exposing himself in the courtyard.
A police officer found the man and tried to detain him. “The suspect refused to follow the officer’s commands, pushed the officer and fled into a residence,” police said.

The man was taken into custody without incident when other police officers showed up at the apartment complex, according to police. The man initially provided false identifying information, police said.
