Arlington Man's Gun Goes Off While Cleaning It In Apartment: Police
Arlington County Police officers said the man was cleaning his gun when it fired and damaged the ceiling of his apartment in Clarendon.

ARLINGTON, VA — An apartment resident in Clarendon fired his gun Sunday evening as he was cleaning the firearm, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday, police were dispatched to the 1200 block of N. Garfield Street for a report of a discharge of a firearm.
When they arrived, police officers determined that the man was cleaning his gun when it fired. The bullet damaged the ceiling of his apartment, police said.
