Arlington Middle School Student Found After Going Missing

His parents went to wake him up for school early Monday morning and couldn't find him.

ARLINGTON, VA — A frantic search for an Arlington middle school student had a happy ending after the 12-year-old child turned up safe and sound.

Police received a report of a missing 12-year-old Williamsburg Middle School student at around 7:30 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 3400 block of N. Emerson Street, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"The juveniles parents went to wake him up and found that he was not there," the report states. "Police conducted a search in the area and the child was later located in the vicinity of Williamsburg Middle School, unharmed and was released back to his parents."
