Arlington Named Top in the Nation for Young Entrepreneurs
NerdWallet says several factors come into play; Tuesday is National Entrepreneurs' Day.
In honor of National Entrepreneurs’ Day today (Tuesday), consumer finance site NerdWallet has named Arlington the nation’s best jurisdiction for young entrepreneurs to start their businesses.
NerdWallet came to this finding by considering the following factors:
- Access to funding, based on small business loans per capita
- Networking opportunities, based on the number of other educated young people
- Mentorship opportunities, based on the number of businesses per 100 people
- Economic conditions, based on incomes and unemployment rates
- Affordability, based on the cost of living
