Arlington Police Charge 2 In DC Stolen Vehicle Case
Arlington County Police arrested two suspects in connection with a stolen vehicle case in Washington, D.C.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested two suspects in connection with the theft of a vehicle in Washington, D.C., according to the daily crime report.
On Sunday, March 1, around 2:40 p.m., ACPD officers learned of hit on a license place reader in connection with an automobile reported stolen earlier in Washington, D.C. After observing two suspects walking away from the parked vehicle in the 800 block of S. Army Navy Drive, the officers conducted a surveillance of the area. When the suspects returned to the vehicle, the officers took them into custody without incident. During the investigation, the male suspect gave police false information about his identity, according to authorities. While searching the vehicle, police also discovered narcotics.
Arlington County Police arrested Taiyonne Goggins, 22, of Washington, D.C., and charged him with receiving stolen property and identity theft. Police also arrested Princess Johnson, 21, of Washington, D.C., and charged her with possession with intent to distribute schedule I/II controlled substance and receiving stolen property.
