Arlington Police Holding Back-To-School Supply Drive

Police are encouraging Arlington residents to "Fill The Cruiser" with school supplies to be distributed to local students and teachers.

ARLINGTON, VA — The Arlington County Police Department’s community outreach teams and school resource officers are teaming up next week to collect school supplies for local students at the department’s “Fill the Cruiser” Back-To-School Supply Drive. The department has several drives planned next week.

All donated supplies will be provided to Arlington County Public Schools for distribution to teachers and students. Those wishing to donate supplies who are unable to attend the Fill the Cruiser events can drop off donations at the Arlington County Police Headquarters at 1425 N. Courthouse Rd. by Aug. 15.

  • Aug. 14, 5-7 p.m.: Ballston Quarter, 4238 Wilson Blvd.
  • Aug. 15, 6-8 p.m.: Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, 1100 S Hayes St.
  • Aug. 15, 6-8 p.m.: Westover Shopping Center, 5800 block of Washington Boulevard
