ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating the second residential breaking and entering incident in two days, according to the daily crime report. The latest incident took place Thursday afternoon in Ballston.

Around 4:01 p.m., police were called for the report of breaking and entering at a residence in the 1000 block of N. Stafford St. Officers learned that between 3:15-3:50 p.m., an unknown suspect forced entry into the residence, causing damage. Items of value were reported stolen.

Police describe the suspect as a 50-60-year-old male, who is approximately 5-foot-5 tall.

ACPD is already investigating a similar residential breaking and entering incident that took place Wednesday at a residence in the 1600 block of N. Oak St., in Rosslyn.

The investigation in both cases is ongoing.
