Name Of Pedestrian Killed In Crash Released By Arlington Police
Arlington County Police have released the name of a pedestrian killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon in the Pentagon City area.

ARLINGTON, VA — The name of a pedestrian killed crossing a street in the Aurora Highlands neighborhood was released Friday by the Arlington County Police Department. Authorities say Soleil Simone, 68, of Seminole, Florida, died at the scene.
Officers responded around 2:15 p.m. to the accident in the 1100 block of South Fern Street. Investigators believe Simone tried to cross mid-block when she was hit by a vehicle.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene. Police have not released the driver's name.
