Arlington Police Officer Lands in Hospital After Cruiser Broadsided
Driver broadsided officer's car at Route 50 and N. Pershing Drive.
An Arlington County Police officer landed in the hospital Thursday afternoon after his car was broadsided by a driver at Route 50 and N. Pershing, according to a police department spokesman.
The officer was on his way to an incident when his car was broadsided. The driver was treated and released at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, the spokesman said.
The officer was transported to Virginia Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries, the spokesman said.
