Updated: Missing 16-Year-Old Boy Located
Arlington County Police reported that a 16-year-old boy who had been missing since Monday afternoon has been located.

UPDATED (March 9, 5:20 p.m.): Arlington County Police reported that the missing 16-year-old boy has been located.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking the public's helping in locating 16-year-old Michael Haines, who has been missing since Monday afternoon, according to a police release.
Haines was last seen around 3 p.m. in the the 2600 block of S. Kent Street in the Aurora Hills neighborhood. His family has been unable to contact him and are concerned about his welfare.

Police described Haines as a white male, standing 5-foot-eight and weighing 138 pounds. He has green eyes and blond hair. At the time of his disappearance, Haines was wearing a blue jacket and jeans. He was also carrying an orange backpack.
Anyone with information about Haines' location is asked to call the Emergency Communications Center at 703-558-2222 or 9-1-1 in an emergency. Information may also be submitted to Detective J. Echenique at jechenique@arlingtonva.us.
