Arlington Police Seek Suspect After Purse Snatching On North Glebe Road
Police said a man shoved a woman from behind and took her purse in a business parking lot in the Ashton Heights area on Wednesday.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington police have identified a suspect in a purse-snatching incident that occurred Wednesday evening in the Ashton Heights area, according to authorities.
Officers responded just before 6 p.m. to investigate the report of a robbery in the 300 block of North Glebe Road.
Police determined that a woman had just exited her vehicle in the parking lot of a business when a man shoved her from behind, took her purse and ran off, according to the incident report. No injuries were reported.

The officers spotted the suspect in the area, but he ran off. Police searched the area but failed to locate the suspect, according to the report.
Through their investigation, police identified the suspect and obtained a warrant for robbery, according to ACPD. The suspect's identity was not released.
