Arlington Restaurant Inspections: 132 Violations At 36 Locations

ARLINGTON, VA — Officials from Arlington County Public Health inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Arlington County. Between Aug. 26-Sept. 3, officials inspected 52 businesses, of which 36 restaurants were in violation.

Violations noted below — such as the 17 each at Uncle Julio's Rio Grande Cafe and Epic Smokehouse — involve issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
