10 Arlington Restaurants Cited For Health Code Violations Between Dec. 28030
Six restaurants were cited by Arlington County inspectors for health violations between Dec. 28-30.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Public Health inspectors did not perform regular food preparation and storage business inspections for most of last week due to closures caused by two winter storms. Code enforcement field inspections resumed on Friday with a priority given to essential inspections that had been canceled earlier in the week.
Between Dec. 28-30, officials inspected 10 businesses, of which six restaurants were in violation.
Violations noted below — such as the five at Saigon Noodles & Grill — involve issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
