Arlington Restaurant Inspections: 185 Violations At 67 Locations

ARLINGTON, VA — Officials from Arlington County Public Health recently inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Arlington County. During the last two week of inspections, officials found a total of 185 violations at 67 Arlington restaurants

Violations noted below — such as the nine at Kanpai Japanese Restaurant in Arlington — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.\Here are the inspections and violations reported over the last week:
