223 Violations Reported By Arlington County Inspectors At 64 Area Restaurants

ARLINGTON, VA — Officials from Arlington County Public Health inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Arlington County. Between Sept. 22-30, officials inspected 94 businesses, of which 64 restaurants were in violation.

Violations noted below — such as the 10 at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View-SOCCI Restaurant and Bar— involve issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
