Arlington Restaurants Debut Summer Menus, Cocktails, Live Music And Restaurant Week Deals

Arlington restaurants are offering new brunches, cocktails, live music and Restaurant Week specials through summer.

ARLINGTON, VA — From all-you-can-eat sushi brunches and tiki cocktails to live music and Restaurant Week menus, several Arlington restaurants are introducing new food and drink specials and seasonal events this summer.

Here's a look at what's new at participating Arlington restaurants.

Northside Social

Northside Social has updated its NoSo Live! summer concert series, featuring free live music on the patio every Friday from 6-9 p.m. Guests can pair the performances with the café's happy hour offerings. Upcoming performers include Later Jane Music (July 31), Collide Duo (Aug. 7), Alex Parez (Aug. 14), Dominique Bianco (Aug. 21) and Ken Avis (Aug. 28).

Yume Sushi

Yume Sushi is introducing several new promotions beginning in August.

Every Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m., the restaurant will offer an all-you-can-eat brunch for $85 per person. Reservations are required. Menu can be found here.

Beginning Aug. 2, Yume also will debut a 10-course chef's tasting menu available Sunday through Thursday. The experience features a single 5 p.m. seating for up to six guests and is priced at approximately $185 per person. Reservations are required.

Summer Restaurant Week cocktails include, on the left, "The Long Night." It contains Licor 43, espresso, spiced rum, and brown sugar cinnamon syrup. It is available as a $15 add-on for Yumi Sushi's Summer Menu. The drink on the right is another seasonal cocktail, "Honey Eclipse." Throughout August, students can receive 10 percent off their meal with a valid student ID, while teachers and school staff receive 15 percent off with a valid school ID. The offer excludes alcohol, special menus, Restaurant Week, prix fixe menus, happy hour, online orders and takeout.

For Summer Restaurant Week, Aug. 24-30, Yume Sushi plans to offer a five-course dinner menu for $65 per person that includes a welcome uni or caviar bite. Reserve here. Menu here.

The restaurant has also introduced a seasonal cocktail menu featuring the Ember & Pear, Emerald Wave, Honey Eclipse and Ruby Petals.

Immigrant Food

Immigrant Food's Ballston location will participate in Summer Restaurant Week and the extended promotion from Aug. 14 through Sept. 6. Menu details have not yet been announced.

The restaurant has also introduced a $23 Summer Cocktail Flight. Guests can choose three cocktails from a rotating selection that includes the Oaxacan Spritz, Passion Punch, The Dill'plomat, Pear & Ginger, Sabertooth and Cherry Bourbon Sour. Individual cocktails are also available.

Taquería Xochi

Taquería Xochi's National Landing location will participate in Summer Restaurant Week and the extended promotion from Aug. 14 through Sept. 6. Menu details will be announced later.

Liberty Tavern

Liberty Tavern
3195 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Liberty Tavern will participate in Restaurant Week and the extended promotion from Aug. 24 through Sept. 7, offering a three-course prix fixe lunch for $35 and dinner for $55. Menus will be released closer to the event.

Through Aug. 2, the restaurant's downstairs bar has been transformed into the "L Tiki" pop-up, serving tropical-inspired food and drinks including Kalua Pork Sliders, Mahi Mahi Tacos, Spicy Ahi Poke Tacos, Jungle Spritz and Birds of Paradise cocktails.

Dog owners can also stop by every Wednesday for the restaurant's Summer Yappy Hour on the patio, featuring drink specials from 3-6 p.m., weather permitting.

Lyon Hall

Lyon Hall
3100 Washington Blvd., Arlington

Lyon Hall will take part in Restaurant Week and the extended promotion from Aug. 24 through Sept. 7. The Clarendon restaurant plans to offer its full dinner menu as a three-course experience for $65, with menu details to be announced.
