Arlington Teacher Accused Of Having Sexual Relationship With Student
Police said there may be more victims connected to the Arlington Public Schools teacher who is facing charges.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington Public Schools substitute teacher is facing charges after police said he was involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.
Timothy McGhee, 47, of Alexandria, was arrested Friday and charged with taking indecent liberties with a child and stalking, Arlington County police said in a news release.
According to authorities, police launched an investigation into McGhee, a substitute teacher assigned to Washington-Liberty High School, after receiving a tip that he had initiated a sexual relationship with a female student.

Police did not release additional information about the incident.
In a statement, investigators said there may be more victims connected to McGhee due to his history of working with kids and youth groups at a local church. He also worked as a substitute teacher in neighboring jurisdictions in Northern Virginia, police said.
