Arlington Woman Dies After 2 Vehicle Collision: Police Report
Arlington County Police are investigating the circumstances around a fatal crash that occurred Friday evening in the Bluemont Park area.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington woman died from injuries received in a two-vehicle collision early Friday evening in the Bluemont Park area, according to an Arlington County Police release.
Officers responded around 5:13 p.m., on Friday, for the report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries Arlington Boulevard and N. Manchester Street. Each vehicle had two occupants.
Medics removed a female passenger from one of the vehicles and transported her to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The woman, who police identified as Marilou Jocson, 63, of Arlington, succumbed to her injuries later and was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle Jocson was traveling in was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Medics transported the passenger from the second vehicle to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
