Arlington's AES Corp. Tumbles on Fortune 500 List
The electrical power distribution giant had a rough 2015, but remains in the top 200.
The new Fortune 500 list is out, and Arlington's own AES Corporation sits high on it once again -- although they've had a bit of a down year.
The company has taken a tumble after hitting a rough patch in 2015, dropping 12 spots to No. 190. Revenues declined 13.9 percent compared to last year, with revenues totaling $15 billion.
AES Corporation is located in the heart of Ballston at 4300 Wilson Boulevard.

AES generates and distributes electrical power, and is one of the leading power companies in the world, providing power in 17 countries.
It was founded in 1981 originally as a consulting firm, and it went public in 1991.
