Arlington's Top High Schools: U.S. News Rankings
2016 Best High Schools U.S. News Rankings include top schools in Arlington. Methodology includes graduation rates for first time.

U.S. News and World Report has released its rankings of 21,000 public high schools across the country, again placing some Northern Virginia schools among the best educations that America has to offer, including two in Arlington County.
This is the first year that the rankings include graduation rates. Read the full methodology.
Overall, Virginia ranked 12th in a ranking of states with nationally-ranked high schools. Maryland was ranked No. 1.

Arlington's Yorktown High School placed 13th on the list in Virginia, and was ranked No. 363 Nationally. The school is located in the northern part of the county, near Marymount University. The school boasts a graduation rate of 95 percent and one of the best college readiness ratings in the state.
Washington Lee High also scored well, ranking 17th in Virginia and No. 430 nationwide. The school is located in the Ballston area, and achieved a graduation rate of 93 percent.
