Assault Charges Filed Against Woman For Biting 2 Police Officers
An Annandale woman is facing multiple assault charges after she bit two Arlington police officers Sunday night.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested an Annandale woman Sunday night for biting two police officers, according to the daily crime report.
Officers responded around 8:28 p.m., for the report of a dispute in the 3500 block of S. Ball St. They located a man and a woman involved in an an argument in the hallway of a residence. After separating them, police say the woman became combative and bit two of the officers. With the help of other officers, the woman was taken into custody. The officers were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the male victim and women had been arguing, when she became engaged and hit and bit him, according to police.

Police charged Kassandra Iriarte, 25, of Annandale, with assault and battery on law enforcement officer, assault and battery, and obstruction of justice.
