ARLINGTON, VA — A new beer hall is coming to Shirlington late next summer.

Elliot Spaisman and Jeff Halpern, owner of Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, are teaming up with Geoff Dawson and Peter Bayne’s creative bar and restaurant development group Tin Shop to launch the Astro Beer Hall in the Village of Shirlington.

Open all day, the two-level beer hall will serve doughnuts and coffee in the morning and serve beer with lunch and dinner offerings. In addition to serving Astro’s made-to-order cake doughnuts, the new restaurant will offer an expanded menu, including fried chicken, sandwiches, salads, and bar snacks. The bar will serve a variety of cocktails, frozen drinks, and local draft beer drafts from 20 tap lines.
