ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are searching for suspects after several members of a large group of ATV and dirt bike riders who rolled through Arlington on Sunday stole from a gas station near Rosslyn and assaulted an employee, police say.

Police were called to the 1800 block of Wilson Boulevard at around 6 p.m. to a report of a "large number of ATVs and dirt bikes" that had entered into Arlington, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"The riders arrived at a gas station in the 1800 block of Wilson Boulevard and allegedly began stealing merchandise," the report states. "An employee was shoved by one of the suspects when he attempted to confront the group. In an attempt to prevent future thefts, the employee locked the doors of the business. Several suspects kicked the door, causing the glass to shatter."
