'Bachelorette' Star Chris Bukowski hosts A-Town St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Get Your Green On: Several Ballston restaurants get into the Irish spirit.

Trying to plan the perfect St. Patrick's Day? The Ballston Business Improvement District offers these suggestions to add some Irish to your Sunday.

Chris Bukowski, of "Bachelorette" and "Bachelor Pad 3" will host a "Sunday Done-Day" at A-Town Bar and Grill.

The A-Town party gets started at 9 a.m. with kegs, eggs and bagpipes. A special St. Patrick's Day menu will round out the rest of the day, along with DJs, green drinks and more. A-Town is located at 4100 Fairfax Drive.

Union Jack's, over at Ballston Common Mall, is celebrating St. Patrick's Day all weekend with a special Irish menu. The Sunday celebration starts at 8 a.m. with a free breakfast buffet until 10 a.m. Live music will be on tap from noon to 6 p.m., plus Irish drink specials are to be had all day long.

World of Beer, 901 N. Glebe Road, has a special tap lineup for the holiday, including O'Hara's Irish Red, Guinness, Kilkenny, Flying Dog Lucky SOB — brewed with real four leaf clovers — Brooklyn Irish Stout and many more.

According to the Ballston BID newsletter, "In honor of this amazing beer holiday, (World of Beer) will have a customer appreciation cookout on Sunday with Bangers, Polish Sausage, Mashed Potatoes and Guinness Gravy!"
