Ballston Quarter Lands Huge Restaurant, Bowling Alley: Report

Punch Bowl Social will offer dining, a bar, bowling, table games and karaoke spread over three levels of the revamped mall.

ARLINGTON, VA — Ballston Quarter, the development formerly known as the Ballston Common mall, has just come to terms with a major restaurant and entertainment venue that will be taking up 25,000 square feet and three levels in the new shopping center, according to a report.

Washington Business Journal reports that Punch Bowl Social has signed a lease to join Ballston Quarter when it finishes its $330 million renovation and opens in 2018.

Punch Bowl Social, a Denver-based chain, has locations in Denver, Portland, Austin, Detroit, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Schaumburg, Ill. In addition to the Arlington location, the chain also has plans for locations in D.C. and eight other cities around the country, including Dallas, Chicago and Brooklyn.
