Bands and Brews on the Boulevard is a free event that's open to the public. However, the 200-foot bar will be busy, so purchasing tickets in advance will save time.
Arlington County Police will be closing the following streets from 5 a.m.-10 p.m., in order to facilitate the presentation of the festival:
- Wilson Boulevard, in both directions, between N. Randolph Street and N. Glebe Road. Motorists should use N. Glebe Road and Fairfax Drive as alternate routes to avoid the closure. N. Randolph Street will remain open in both directions during the entirety of the event.
- N. Taylor Street, at Wilson Boulevard
- N. Stuart Street, from N. 9th Street to Wilson Boulevard
- N. 7th Street, between Glebe Road and Wilson Boulevard
Other road closures may occur if deemed necessary. Motorists are advised to look for temporary "No Parking" signs in the area. Violating vehicles will be towed or ticketed. If your vehicle has been towed, call 703-558-2222.
Attendees are encouraged to take Metrorail to the festival and exit at the Ballston Station.
